路的英语单词-path,way与road用法

【path,way与road用法】path,way与road均有“路”的意思。  

①path是指人们行走的小径或被人们踩出来的泥路,通常很窄:

例句：We strolled along the garden  path我们沿着花园的小径散步。

 Walk on the path, not in the road.在小路上走,别在马路上走

He followed a muddy path through the field他们循着一条泥路穿过了田地。  

②way是抽象名词,不能指某条特定的道路:

例句：Can you tell me the way to the new building?你能告诉我云新大楼的路吗？

 If you lose your way,phone me  要是你迷路,打电话给我。

③road一般是指车辆行驶的马路或公路:

 例句：There' s a bus outside parked in the road.外面马路上停着一辆公共汽车。

Follow the road round to the left and you’ll find the school,沿着这条马路向左走,你就会找到学校了
