As we know, when senior students graduate from school, most of their reference books as well as textbooks, which are still in good condition are thrown away. What a great waste it is!

大家都知道,当高中生毕业的时候,他们的参考书及课本大部分都被扔掉了,其中好多都还可以用。这是多大的浪费呀！

I suggest that we should recycle these books. Firstly, recycling them can save a lot of natural resources, which can be reused to make textbooks. What's more, senior students may have made plenty of useful notes on the pages. They are very helpful to the following users.

我建议我们应该回收这些书。一方面,回收这些书可以节约很多自然资源,这些资源可以用来制作新的课本;另一方面,高中生很可能在书页上做了很多笔记,这些笔记对后面的使用者会很有帮助的。

At present, the whole nation is calling on us to build an energy-saving society I think it's certainly meaningful to our long-term interests. In fact, in Australia and some other countries, recycling textbooks is popular, which gives us a good example.

目前,国家在号召我们建立资源节约型社会,我认为这对我们国家的长远利益具有相当的意义。事实上,在澳大利亚和一些其他的国家,回收课本是相当受大家欢迎的,这给我们树立了一个很好的榜样。
