质疑是求知的桥梁

Questioning is an effective way of learning. It can not only help us to find solutions but also achieve creation. If we are in the habit of raising doubts as to whether what we are told is true, we can find the correct answer and learn more.

质疑是学习的有效途径。它不仅帮我们找到问题的解决办法,还有助于我们发挥创造  性。如果我们能够对已被告知的知识不断地加以质疑,我们不仅可以找到正确答案,而且  可以学到更多。

Several reasons may account for students unwillingness to question, among which the following two may be the most important ones. First, students usually don’ t have the courage to question, especially when they find that their teachers or parents are wrong  Next, even if they are brave enough to question, it will take great efforts to argue with others, which usually results in unnecessary quarrels.

一些因素导致学生不愿质疑,以下两个原因最为重要。首先,学生通常没有质疑的勇  气,尤其是当他们发现老师或父母的观点错误时。其次,即便他们有足够勇气质疑,和他  人辩论又会耗费太多精力,而且通常导致不必要的争吵。

In spite of all the difficulties, I strongly suggest young people to question, if not, the  society will stop making any progress.

尽管存在种种困难,我强烈建议年轻学子去质疑,如果他们不这样做,整个社会将不再有任何进步
