Step 1: Warming-up
1. Greetings.
2. Sing an English song called You and me, the lyrics are as follows:

Travel dream
A thousand miles
Meeting in Beijing
Then ask them how they can get to Beijing and what kinds of transportation they may choose to lead in the new topic.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Ask students to read the passage with teacher to find the sentences that **pare the differences between different transportation and write down them on the blackboard.
2. Lead students to observe the sentences and find out the similar parts of the sentences.
3. Summarize the answers and conclude the structure as well as the function of **parative degree.
Step 3: Practice
1. Ask students to fill in the blanks on the screen. Tell them to change the adjectives into the right form.

Homework: ask students to write some sentences to describe the change around them by using the **parative degree.
